A Unique Perspective

Mark Fowler is a Freelance Professional Photographer, who works from his West Country base in Barnstaple in rural North Devon. He works locally in North Devon and has also had several of his images in both local and National publications.

History

Mark started his freelance photography career in 2003, following his retirement from The Royal Air Force.  Mark is a Nikon Professional and uses Nikon Cameras, lenses and accessories.  He also uses Rotolight LED Lighting, continuous lighting and Flash Photography, all portable and battery operated.

Mark is involved in many diverse areas of photography and at present has a keen interest In Commercial Projects, Portraiture, Dark Light Noir, Local Landscapes, Aircraft and Aerial Photography.

Mark’s passion for photography allows him to become involved in a diverse array of local projects, from contributing pictures to The North Devon Hospice, Children's Hospice South West, MacMillan Cancer Support to Charity Fund Raising Evenings and Events.

He is also Involved with local schools giving talks about his Royal Air Force Flying Career and his passion for Photography.  This year he has provided work experience to Braunton Academy, mentoring a pupil for a week.

Mark conducts his business in The Beautiful Town of Barnstaple and locally in North Devon and is a member of  several Breakfast Business Groups.

Mark enjoys the great outdoors and outdoor living. Locally Mark has access to the vast reaches of Exmoor National Park and surrounding countryside, he enjoys walking and biking and this combined gives him the ability to access the more remote areas, this gives his landscape and scenery images a very beautiful and unique perspective
